In 1963, Paul and John were very prolific songwriters. They often gave their songs away to other artists to record, especially if they thought the song was not quite up to par for the Beatles.
The song “One and One Is Two” is a song written by Paul McCartney in 1963. It survives as an incomplete demo. It is a fairly catchy tune, but John Lennon really did not like the song, so the Beatles did not record it.
I created a (funny) little video to accompany the demo of “One and One Is Two.” Enjoy!
